Willow Creek Designs LLC is a growing home renovation and residential construction business. We are looking for an experienced construction professional to join our team. In this position candidates will work directly with management in completing tasks on a variety of residential construction and home renovation projects. Any candidate must be prepared to work in different types of weather conditions. We primarily work with local clients, but some travel may be necessary. Our ideal candidate has some residential construction experience, but we are willing to train the right person. This position will require the individual to have excellent communication and attention to detail along with the ability to follow directions. Duties and Responsibilities • Take Initiative: Highly motivated, strategic thinker who works well at solving problems • Maintain Work Ethic: Displays an organized and results-orientated approach, and motivation to perform without extensive direction • Maintain Accuracy: Displays high quality of work and level of accuracy • Be Resourceful: Exercise patience as needed and demonstrate effective problem-solving ability • Take Accountability: Punctual, reliable and takes ownership of actions • Display Integrity: Trustworthy and ethical • Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site • Consult team leaders and manager on construction plans • Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks • Adhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment and handling tools • Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner • Provide assistance to contractors (i.e., craft workers, electricians, plumbers) as needed • Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials • Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly • Work on a multitude of different residential remodeling projects such as; drywall installation, drywall repair and finishing, framing, tiling, flooring, trim work, painting, cabinetry installation, surface prep, general carpentry, siding repair and other home renovation and repair related projects. Qualifications • High school degree or equivalent; vocational school or trade apprenticeships a plus • Valid drivers license & Reliable form of transportation • General hand tools and tool pouch • Smart phone (for schedule, texts and photographs) • Some experience in construction preferred • Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds • Able to work independently or as an active member of a team • Excellent communication skills • Positive attitude Pay is based on experience.
