Three acts representing some of the best of Frederick homegrown talent! Anyone who is present in the contemporary funk landscape of Washington, DC is familiar with Natalie Brooke. A musical scholar and guru beyond her years, Natalie has deep classical and jazz training and is a master of all things keyboard. She has been shaking things up with multiple ensembles and original compositions for the last several years. Natalie makes Frederick her home base but doesn't play in this DC exurb often--catch this rare chance to hear Natalie in her home town! Born in Fayetteville, NC, and raised in Frederick, MD, Stitch Early has become a staple in his hometowns music scene known for his lyrical prowess, song writing ability, wittiness and creativity. Described as an “inspirational artist” he uses his music to evoke change in those who listen. Formed just last year, Kitewave have already made their mark on the Frederick music scene with their jazz-influenced shoegaze jams. Kitewave is composed of lead vocalist Daniel Miller, guitarist Lauren Koontz, and drummer Abie Lichtman. Learn more about the band here.
