Learn ways to transform sequins from flat to three-dimensional, then how to embroider them onto a firm beading foundation using techniques that cause them to stand up and away from the fabric so the sequins look like a colorful explosion. You’ll go home with a finished pair of earrings and an illustrated handout of instructions for making them. Wearing these is like having rockets going off around your ears, and compliments are guaranteed! You’ll stitch the light-as-air earrings with sequins imported from France and Italy—the same ones used by the high-fashion houses of Paris and Milan. All tools and materials provided. Some experience with hand stitching is helpful, but not required.
