Description

recently adopted this big boy with high hopes, but his lingering puppy energy is too much for our lifestyle. i'm guessing he is plott hound/lab mix due to his size (80lbs). he is neutered/chipped and up to date on vaccines/shots (paperwork included). he will be a year old in november. he knows basic commands (sit/lay) and takes his treats gently. we have 2 small children (1&3) that he is great around. his bad habits: he chews up things we're not okay with/he follows you around constantly even if you get up for a split second/he barks excessively at cars/people/other dogs (he is not aggressive, it's probably from a lack of exposure: the people we adopted from lived at the end of a dirt road in bfe and he was only around them, their young kids, the neighbors and their elderly dog/chickens) he is by no means a bad dog, he is just too much for the time and energy we can provide for him. the previous owners said he was low-key/lazy, definitely not! he would do great with someone who can give him the time/upbeat routine he deserves bc he is a needy cuddle muffin. rehoming fee applies to ensure a good home and he will come with all of his supplies.
