On Time Express in Ontario California is looking for FULL TIME DIESEL MECHANIC ASSISTANT. Must be able to complete a preventative maintenance inspection and repairs on all company-owned equipment, including tractors and trailers (Dry Van). Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery. Tire maintenance to include repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Proactively work to assist the fleet manager in achieving the organization's objectives. Schedule: 8am - 5pm shift Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS) HOURLY PAY: $25-30 Direct Deposit Weekly Pay Qualifications: Must be responsible, punctual, and a team player 1 year related experience and/or training is required (schooling). High School or combination of training and/or experience required. Driver’s license required. Obtaining a CDL is a plus but not required Demonstrated superior customer service and teamwork skills.
