The Interlock announces fall 5K benefiting Atlanta Humane Society

ATLANTA, Ga. — The Interlock, a $450 million mixed-use project with unparalleled entertainment, living and dining, office space and outdoor connections, amenities and parks, is adding an annual 5K event to its robust lineup of community activities. Dubbed The Interlock Fall Crawl 5K, this year’s race is presented by Run for It! Productions with proceeds benefiting the Atlanta Humane Society. On September 10, 2022 at 9 a.m., participants will start off on Howell Mill Road. Following the 5K, a post-event party for participants and supporters will take place in Highline Park, the mixed-use center’s public park located between Beeline Blvd. and Interlock Ave. NW, and will feature live music, food from various Interlock tenants, giveaways, drinks, awards and more. Interested individuals can register for the 5K online now through race day. Tickets are currently $35 and will increase 10 days prior to the event. All registered runners will receive a t-shirt, water, snacks and other goodies. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the inaugural event, with hopes of raising $5,000 to donate to the Atlanta Humane Society to help provide animal services, including preventative initiatives, education, advocacy and adoption of animals into permanent loving homes.
