Licensed and bonded, local landscape company offering an immediate opportunity! OUR COMPANY: We are a growing, independently owned business, operating out of inner SE Portland. Our focus is on design, maintenance, and installation and we work primarily with residential landscapes in SE, NE, and N Portland areas. OUR COMMITMENT: Our company began in 2003 with the vision of providing a highly personalized and sustainable landscaping service. We practice and encourage sustainable methods and materials whenever possible, and ONLY offer organic/naturally derived fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide application services. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: A Landscape Technician, we are willing to train the right individual with a strong commitment to learn the many phases of landscape installation and maintenance. Position hours are Monday – Thursday, with flexibility for a full time or part time employee. A reliable source of transportation is required, and a valid state issued driver’s license. Thank you, Jonathan Whitley The Phoenix Garden Project LLC, LCB#8254 Some examples of what will be expected: -This position requires that an individual be able to safely lift and move 30 pounds. - Digging trenches and excavating for projects -Basic landscape maintenance, mowing, edging, pruning, etc... -Know the names of most common landscape plants, trees, and grasses The type of jobs we do: -Landscape maintenance -Landscape install -Irrigation install and repair -landscape design -Retaining walls and rock walls -Paver and flagstone patio, walkway, and stair installs -Water features -Fire pits, benches -Gazebos, Arbors, and fences -Site preparation, drainage -Low voltage lighting -Etc.
