Cinematic Art / Prog Band Needs Musicians for 10/1 Show and Beyond

Hi there, my wife (singer) and I (guitarist) recently moved to Portsmouth and are looking to re-establish our band. We’re at the crossroads of heavy prog and classic rock, with multiple other influences thrown in. Our first two albums tell a story, so the show is somewhat theatrical as well. We have a gig booked on the Seacoast on October 1, opening for a somewhat well-known group (at least among prog nerds) that’s travelling through the area. So we’re ultimately looking for long term band members, but for right now fill-ins for 10/1 would be just fine. If you’re a bass player, keyboard player or drummer interested in playing some material that touches on European symphonic and classic rock, with healthy doses of opera, progressive, world music, classical and dance, please get in touch. We’re serious about playing the music well, but flexible in terms of having musicians add their own personal touches to existing material. There’s a certain sound that we want to achieve, but there’s certainly room for you to be you. And we have a lot of fun!
