Meet Ruby! She’s an adorable, spayed 4 year old bull terrier mix. She’s fantastic with kids and will thrive in a home with no other dogs. We adopted her from Anchorage Animal Care and Control and found out she does not do well with our senior dog. We know that with patience and proper training, she’ll be great for her new owner. She’s been great with our two young kids - taking treats from them, playing with toys and sleeping in their bedrooms, etc. She knows how to sit, lay down and shake and is potty trained. She was surrendered to the Matanuska-Susitna Borough Animal Shelter in mid-July when her owner moved away. She comes with a harness, small toys, microchip, and a free veterinarian health exam certificate courtesy of Animal Care and Control (expires 9-2-22). No re-homing fee.
