Supernova 'classic rock, hard rock' cover band seeks experienced Drummer to jam 1x a week at our Anchorage studio, to work toward replacing current Drummer moving to L48 Jan 2023. We gig 1 - 2 venues a month or jam 1x during off-gig weeks 2-3 hours to add songs. We don't gig more often so we can also have lives away from our band. Have full Pearl Export kit in studio (and for gigs) so our Drummer can keep his kit home for practice & homework. We're a 5-piece band gigging ~70 songs, but we can perform many more covers from our ‘parking lot’ that we've played more often in our past. New drummer needs time to get to speed on lots of music, so we have 5 months to jam & gel. Supernova works drug & alcohol-free on band time, so new drummer must work the same. Be prompt, reliable, able to play late in bars, have reliable transportation, have time for homework. Supernova jams without visitors to keep limited jam time efficient without distraction.
