Great intern Job opportunity with a small thriving Ecommerce business. Looking for someone who wants to learn the ropes in several areas of the business. Flexible hours 2-3 hours minimum a day, flexible days off, willing to work around your schedule. Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities include but limited to: • Recording order details on the computer system and labeling package with all vital information • Monitoring inventory, posting items on various website, inc. taking pictures in photo booth, posting and monitoring sales. • Researching costs and posting items online. • Receive, register and distributing packages and scanning letters within the company. • Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items for re-sell. • Schedule large shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming items • Ensure items are photographed and posted with descriptions online. • Keep files of goods shipped and received • Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers • Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling • Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems • Obtain and process product orders on various sellers’ websites Job brief We are looking for a person to join our team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all products we ship to our customers, and Vendors. A Shipping Clerk’s responsibilities include recording every detail of the order, from packing items into containers to labeling them. They are also accountable for ensuring that each package gets shipped correctly and timely to avoid missing deliveries or lost goods! Ultimately, you will work with our team to ensure items are labeled and packed correctly for shipping. Admin Assistant Responsibilities include but limited to: • Administrative items for Owner, making calls, setting up meetings, scanning documents and general office items • Running small errands • Good communication skills needed in both written and verbal Requirements and skills • Proven work experience as a Shipping Clerk or similar role • Ability to lift items and containers under 40 lbs. • Flexibility to work different hours throughout the week as needed • Ability to multitask and pay close attention to detail in a fast-paced environment • A high school qualification or equivalent is preferred
