Description
Huckleberry
We are absolutely shattered to have to post this, but we have to find a new home for our newly adopted boy, Huckleberry.
Huck is a 7 month old Black Mouth Cur mix (possibly Husky or Belgian Malanois too). He is a big boy, around 55lbs and still growing! Huck loves going on walks, taking long car rides, and chasing after soccer balls. He has some typical puppy energy, but is overall pretty laid back! He is happy just to be with his people doing whatever they’re doing.
Huck gets really stressed out around small dogs and small kids, has displayed resource guarding and would do much better with an adult-only home, or a family with teenagers. He also probably would not do well in a home with other small animals, but he loves friends his own size!
Huck was already well potty and crate trained when he came to us, has been doing very well with his other training as well. We have been working with him on lay down, spin, off, peeing in a specific part of the yard, fetch, and leash training. He still needs more practice, but he is learning! He also has done very well when taken off-leash, he always stays close by his people!
Huck is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is also microchipped.
He is a very loving and affectionate boy, which is why this is so difficult. Please feel free to comment or reach out if you have any questions.
