If you are tired of being seen as just a vote when elections come around... If you are truly sick of having extreme Red and Blue agendas shoved down your throat... If you are tired of the two political parties creating dynasties at even the local level... If you are tired of the two political parties trying to push your buttons with hot topic issues they don't ever intend to deal with... If you are tired of your ability to think independently, but then being admonished as "bad" or hurting the chances of one side or the other.. This list could get long and painful, so consider adding your voice and energy to the Forward Party. You can google up what is going on with the new merging of a few political organizations under a diverse group of former Democrats and Republicans. Seriously, what do you have to lose other than a chance to make a difference? Here is the deal, if there is to be a new party (and this snowball is already rolling), the time to get heard is in the front end as in now. One thing for sure, the Democrat and Republican party only want to hear from Centrist/Independents when they need money or votes. The day after elections, both parties pander to their extreme base that is crazy with a Progressive agenda or that other guy with the tower. We get nothing and have to sit back and watch the extreme edges of both parties get all the attention. I can tell you that at this point, you can get heard and there is a reasonable chance you can make a difference in how your State and local Forward Party groups move. I made a few comments that appeared to end up shaping their statement as it relates to a focus on grass roots local organization. For me it is simple, if the Forward Party was about trying to enlist voters to support someone for the President in 2024, it would not be sustainable. If on the other hand, the Forward Party was about helping grow new candidates for local and State elections, then there is a chance that the party would be relevant at some point on a national stage. So if you care about what happens on your block, your school district, your City Council, or state legislature, then this could be part of the ticket.
