We are rehoming our 4 year old beagle who we’ve had since he was a puppy. He is a calm, loving family pet. We have a 3 year old and an 8 month old who he is great with. The only reason we are rehoming him is because he can be food aggressive with our other dog which can lead to some pretty bad fights. He has never shown food aggression with people only other dogs. If it weren’t for that, he would be the perfect pet. We’ve tried our best to keep them separated around food but they sometimes still manage to find things on the floor after our kids drop snacks. He would be perfect for a household with no other pets. He is house trained and is mostly an inside dog but loves to spend time in the backyard. He is a hound dog so expect him to howl at times. He never howls at night, just if he hears other dogs outside or if someone knocks at the door. We are asking for an $80 rehoming fee just to ensure he goes to a good, loving home.
