Little Shelter Animal Rescue, is looking to hire animal caretakers for our cats. Responsibilities include feeding, medicating socializing of shelter cats. Caretaker responsibilities also require substantial cleaning and sanitizing of the cats living spaces. The majority of the cats are in a free-roaming environment and some are separated in medical areas in caged spaces during recovery. Shifts vary from 7:30 am to 8 p.m. One weekend day is required. Caretakers also show potential adopters through the shelter to help find the perfect pet. This is a very physical position. Candidate should be able to lift up to 50lbs. and be able to use the required sanitizing materials.
