Arcosa Aggregates is urgently hiring applicants for the position of Haul Truck Driver.  You will operate a CAT 770 Haul Truck.  We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1 year experience on this type of equipment.   Your work location will be in Northwest Peoria area. Functions/Duties: Perform general maintenance, minor repairs and regular service on mobile equipment and crushing and screening equipment daily as directed by supervisor. General cleanliness of assigned equipment. Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor. Perform other related duties as required. Assist with safety audits. You may be required to help at different sites within the West Valley. Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment. Operate heavy construction equipment in a professional & efficient manner to maintain production goals. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to communicate orally and in writing. Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency Must have 1-2 years experience operating CAT Haul Trucks Ability to accept responsibility for his/her actions specifically Safety related Work 8 to 12+ hours a day and some Saturday's. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies. Must be able to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat in excess of 100 degrees, cold and rain. Typical work schedule consists of day time hours Monday through Friday, but may be required to work overtime, nights and or weekends. Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as, bend and lift up to 80 pounds.
