OK, so... If a musician plays the Conga (pronounced "Con-GA"), they play a drum. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conga If a musician plays the Congo (pronounced "Con-GO") they would appear to be playing an entire geographic area of Africa (the sedimentary basin of the Congo River, or Republic of the Congo (Léopoldville) or People's Republic of the Congo, etc), which seems unlikely.
