We are a Largo located manufacture of the highest quality of custom powerboats and have been in business for over 30 years. We are seeking full time Shop Helper to join our growing team. This is a Multi Cultural environment, with a tremendous amount of growth opportunity! The position is full time and we are looking for someone who wants to work, and wants to grow with our company! The responsibilities of this position include laying fiberglass in the bilges of boats, and or finishing type functions that include utilizing hand or power tools including Sanders, Grinders, and Drills. On-site training and safety training will be provided. Protective wear will also be provided. This is a non climate controlled environment. Direct experience with Fiberglass Lamination within any industry is a plus. Experience with finishing, sanding, grinding, lamination or working with fiberglass is a plus. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Responsibilities consist of: -Performs Finishing type functions, using hand or power tools: Sander, Grinders, Drills, and Saws -Installing, laying fiberglass in the bilges of boats -Painting gel coat on the finished fiberglass -Grinding and sanding fiberglass to create a smooth finish -Inspecting and finishing fiberglass on all surfaces -Performs other related duties as needed Requirements: -At least 4-6 months of Grinding, Sanding, Finishing, or Lamination experience is required -Ability to lift up to 65 pounds if needed -Follow rules, regulations and training -Must have reliable transportation Starting pay range: $16.00 - $17 per hour - based on experience We offer a competitive benefit plan which includes: Medical, Dental, Vision, vacation and sick time as well as a 401K plan, as well as performance based increases after the probationary period!
