A rapidly growing eCommerce company in Richmond, TX, is looking to bring on another member of our team as a warehouse associate. Candidate must be aware that this job will begin with a rotating and random schedule for the first 90 days (training period). Perform an array of functions that may include product receiving, preparation, and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Multi-task day to day operations in warehouse to ensure smooth functioning and running of all warehouse concerning activities. • Follow standard operating procedures and work methodology. • Possessing a comprehensive understanding of material / stock management techniques and inventory control methods and procedures. • Able to walk / stand on their own feet for extended periods of time. • Welcome delivery trucks and Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times. • Receive and track shipments. • Able to work in a shifting warehouse climate (cool in winter / warm summer) • Embark merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools. • Accommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandise. • Label, Tag, and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and type. Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards with precision. • Box, wrap, and pack the merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standards. • Prepare all orders for shipment. • Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items as per company standard. • Operate adequate merchandise management tools (for example, forklift, Pallet jacks, electric pallet truck) • Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs. • Preparing Products (Polybag, Bubble wrap, Labeling etc.). Creating new shipments and packing boxes according to requirements and safety guideline. • Pick, Pack and Ship orders every day. • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all time. • Able to work shifts. Willing to work overtime at short notice. Self-sufficient and willing to work alone. • Ability to follow company standards, processes and procedure accurately. • Delivering excellent customer service to clients who visit the warehouse. • Wear the proper safety equipment. • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. • High proficiency with MS office suite including outlook / PC in general. • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 50 lbs. • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision. Qualification Requirements. • High School diploma or equivalent preferred (Not required). • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred (Fresher can also apply). • Good communication, organizational, team player, time management mathematical skills. • Dependable and Reliable. • Inventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills required. • Physically able to operate at quick speeds in the warehouse while remaining detail oriented. • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages (up to 50 lb. regularly and more than 50 lb. occasionally) and objects. • Systems improvement experience. • Flexible for overtime work during busy / peak times.
