Oahu, Hawaii firm is seeking a candidate for a full-time technician/labor position (entry level). Applicants that apply should possess characteristics of being efficient, organized, self-motivated, punctual, and hold an excellent attendance record. The position will consist of a wide range of tasks including, but not limited to, field labor for environmental project and driving. This is a perfect opportunity for candidates looking to acquire experience in the environmental construction and consulting field. Responsibilities Description • Completing field paperwork that accompanies the waste projects. • Driving (e.g. labor, loading/off loading, errands, projects, job sites and picking up supplies) • Keep the warehouse clean and organized. • Working in the field at customer sites, picking up various types of environmental waste/recyclables, collecting data, conducting inspections, and taking water, soil and other types of samples. • Opportunity for growth, including higher-level field and consulting opportunities and other increased responsibilities for the right candidate. • Demonstrate a high level of customer service to clients and vendors both in person and over the phone. Professional representation of our company and constant communication with clients and team on a daily basis. Qualifications: • Comfortable and able to work with Microsoft Office and email through a smart phone. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be highly organized, self-directed and detail oriented. Working independently and with a team is a must. • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license are mandatory. A background and traffic abstract check will be performed. CDL and TWIC card, a plus. Qualifications, Education, Skills & Experience • High School Diploma. College a plus. • Minimum one year of experience in the construction or related industry. • Comfortable with driving trucks, flatbeds and box trucks. • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification current & other relative extended education, a plus. • Ability to travel 5-10%% of the time within the Hawaiian Islands during the (M-F work schedule). • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks with a strong focus on safety Benefits • We offer a wide range of great benefits and perks to our employees to ensure they feel comfortable.
