Creative band seeking members

Hi, my name is Jamel and I’m trying to form a band with the intent of playing out in the house show venues of this region. I play guitar mainly but also have experience with drums, singing, trumpet, and bass. I’m hoping to find at least a drummer and a bassist so that there is a good foundation to this band, but I’m open to any other instruments imaginable. Artists I love include: Bjork, Fugazi, Swans, Devin Townsend, Nobuo Uematsu, Freddie Hubbard, Roy Hargrove Jr, John Coltrane, Sun are, Black Midi, Black Flag, Lightning Bolt, Bad Brains, The Microphones, Godspeed you Black Emperor, The Mars Volta/At the Drive in, Lou Reed, Sonic Youth, and many more. I want this band to be a democracy with everyone having an equal say in decisions and songwriting. I’m 24 years old and still haven’t gotten to play a house show yet which is a dream of mine. I already have a couple of songs I’m working on and would love to jam on those, play what you might have, and go through the creative process to find something totally new to create. I love diversity in bands. I think it makes them much better. I look forward to jamming with you, Thanks
