The Jacksonville Humane Society is teaming up with PetSmart and Animal Care and Protective Services for a free adoption event at PetSmart located at 8801 Southside Blvd. We will be offering free adoptions August 6 – August 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. JHS will offer free adoptions at our shelter on August 6 – August 7 as well. Pets from the Jacksonville Humane Society and Jacksonville’s Animal Care and Protective Services will be available for adoption. Additional fees such as the city rabies licensing fee, a leash and collar, or a cat carrier may apply.All pets are altered, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to adoption.
