Honestly, this is hard to write. We love our cat Boots, but with a second child coming and realizing he needs more love and attention, and space than we can give him, we're looking for a new home for our 9 year old Maine Coon mix, Boots, ideally outside of NYC. My family has a home in Fire Island, and when we are there, he is SO happy outside, and the apartment in NYC just isn't cutting it anymore. He recently was diagnosed with diabetes, and we give him a shot in the morning and evening. He barely looks up for it and really couldn't care less, but I think with outside time, he won't need insulin anymore. He is loving, patient and would be perfect in a family with children or without. He is simply an angel, and my priority is to find someone who loves him. He is also a fantastic traveler and comes with us on weekend trips often. Nothing stresses him out. Please don't reach out unless you have some kind of outside space.
