Drummers and Rhythm guitarists into blues/heavy/psychedelic that can also do odd meters and will travel for some shows?We are Opening a live music Venue in Kansas City and are putting out feelers out for musicians that want to make a REAL living playing music. We will be having a Full Cover Band on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The pay starts at 30,000 a year with one rehearsal required per week. We will be learning tons of songs and forming set-lists. We will be opening in two months off of Broadway and we are beginning the auditioning phase to get an awesome Party band put together. Don't have a lot of time and I am not "trying to make it" in some "scene" or whatever. I just generally love to play improvised music, specifically non-traditional jazz based in folk music traditions and world music forms. Can't stand academic boring jazz geek stuff.
