Description
She is approximately 1 year old and a very good dog. We found her in our front yard and have been unable to locate her owner. Animal services and the human society are full. We can't keep her in our home because we have an older dog who is territorial and extremely unhappy that we have a guest. In addition, I am a medical student and I don't have the time to give them both all of the attention they deserve.
She is very social - will be up and about when the family is active and lies down when you're chilling out. She is well potty trained - no accidents. She does well on a leash and we are working on training her to walk without pulling. One thing I can say is that she is remarkably smart compared to other dogs I have trained. It takes only a short session dedicated instruction for her to start learning a new skill. She can sit, stay, give her paw, leave it, go to bed, come, etc. We are working on learning fetch and she is making great progress. She likes to cuddle and play but she doesn't bark or whine to get her way. She does well outdoors or indoors, we have been doing a combination of both. We don't know what her original name was before she was lost but we have been calling her Bo. She's not attached to the name yet though, so you could come up with your own name for her!
So far she has received all vaccines except rabies. She has tested negative for heart worm and has received heart worm preventative. She has received flea/mite preventative. She still needs to be spayed.
Please send me a message if you are interested in meeting her an we can arrange a playdate!
