JOB SUMMARY The Traditional Holiday Light Installer is responsible for the installation and removal of holiday lights and decorations from client worksites, rooftops, external structures (trees, poles, etc.) and buildings. May include residential in addition to commercial properties. Full-time seasonal work from September through March. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Install holiday and decorative lighting • Install various holiday decorations and banners • Organize decorations as necessary in warehouse areas • Basic light/décor maintenance • Stage/load/unload deliveries, inventory and production materials • Locate, report and troubleshoot power issues related to lighting décor • Other duties assigned by management KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES • Ability to follow directions • Ability to follow safety protocols • Strong customer service skills • Strong planning and multi-tasking skills • Self-motivated with a high energy level • Strong communication skills • Ability to analyze and solve problems CREDENTIALS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • No experience required • No specific education required PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT/REQUIREMENTS: • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally move objects weighing 100 pounds • Ability to carry, climb and work from ladders • Ability to work outside in cold weather environments • Ability to work on rooftop and other elevated areas SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum age 16 • Valid driver’s license • Clean driving record • Must not be afraid of heights • Must not be color blind
