Begin transmission: We’re late 40’s kids at heart with adult lives looking for a bassist to make some music, feedback and noise with. Drummer, guitar/vocal, 2nd guitar need bassist and if we're making a Christmas list, a harmony vocal. Dude, Where ARE you? We're focusing on some original songs, maybe a cover or two. We plan to record something great then break up after we argue about creative differences (we prefer to just plan ahead....) It’s weird that I even have to write this but… please ACTUALLY have your own instrument and equipment. And please do not let us be your first band. Please have some experience either playing in a band or music with other people. Some experience in writing or contributing to a song, working with a DAW, etc. In no particular order, we’re into: The Posies, Jellyfish, Swervedriver, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Superdrag, QOTSA, BRMC, Jawbreaker, Screaming Trees, Failure, Misfits, the Melvins, Soundgarden…. You get the picture: Fuzzy / distorted guitars, big chords, a few good riffs, some feedback, some melody and trying to (ahem) stay in pitch:) It's 90's all the way. We have some recorded "sketches" of song ideas to share if you want to get an idea of what we're working on. It might be your cup of tea.... or you may want to dump that tea into ocean... But either way, you'll have an idea. Ask, and I'll send some over. We have a place to practice and we'll even help you unload your stuff. Damn that sciatica... Dust off your doc martens and join us.
