i don't know if you'll ever see this, but i wanna say it. i saw you at the coffee shop.... double espresso? maybe something iced? you were wearing some weird tshirt, like maybe a metal band or something? you were reading a book, but you also kept looking at your phone. until you looked up at me. me? why me? the way you held me in your gaze was mesmerizing. i could stare at you, staring at me, forever. that moment felt like forever. too bad it was just a brief moment in time. a passing glance and nothing more. or was it everything?
