Expectations and Responsibilities 1)Position will be responsible for packaging machinery repair and troubleshooting on site at customers, and in-house. 2)Knowledge of PLC, VFD’s, proximity sensors, DC/AC motors, photo eyes, and mechanical a plus but not necessary. Will be working on equipment such as Stretch Wrap Machines, Case Sealers, Tape Machines, and other Packaging Equipment. 3)Position will require working in warehouse, clean rooms, and refrigeration. Candidates should have neat appearance, able to lift heavy equipment, and ability to follow direction. 4)Position will report to Service Manager and will undergo training to perform installs on new equipment, preventative maintenance on existing equipment, and basic troubleshooting. Successful Candidates Must Have High school diploma, technical trade school, junior college and/or technical related certification preferred 3+ years work experience performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment Proven applied learning capabilities with strong problem-solving skills Ability to determine “root-cause” of machine/equipment failures to correctly perform timely repairs. Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative work environment Proven dependability and trustworthiness Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, not required Great company, genuine ownership, strong ties to the community – the perfect company to work for.
