LEAD GUITARIST needed for Indie Rock cover band

Newly forming indie rock/alternative cover band searching for a Lead Guitarist (30-50 yr old) interested in joining up with other likeminded musicians wanting to bring this genre to the masses. There is no band that I know of locally doing what we are setting out to accomplish. We’re going to be a five member outfit ultimately group, that does covers heavily focusing on the Indie Rock movement of the early 2000’s… additionally some late 90’s pop-punk, alternative hits as well. The Vines The Hives Franz Ferdinand The Killers Jet Modest Mouse The Strokes The White Stripes The Black Keys The Raconteurs Maroon 5 Jimmy Eat World Weezer Arctic Monkeys Green Day Death Cab For Cutie Vampire Weekend Snow Patrol The Bravery Phoenix Kings Of Leon Cage The Elephant Third Eye Blind Foo Fighters Lit Sum 41 And many more… We’ll have a dedicated rehearsal studio to get all of the material whipped into shape. As the primary lead guitarist you’ll be expected to know your material and make every effort to try and help replicate these songs as best you can. I have been doing live music most of my life and have little time for individuals that don’t want to learn the material, don’t want to be a team player, engage in reckless or excessive alcohol & drug use. We will be able to take this outfit to some really interesting places with the right individuals. Bookings and all management duties will be handled by myself.
