Live In Nanny Needed

Jobs

Greger Street, Oakdale CA

Description

I may be honored to foster-adopt a six week old infant within the next month. I live in Oakdale and teach elementary school in a nearby community, thus I will need childcare as soon as I bring the baby home. I'm hoping to hire childcare at $15/hour minus the cost of rent for living in my studio apartment. It is a requirement that the caregiver is willing to live on the property in the studio. The baby would require care from 7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday, one 10-hour Saturday or Sunday per month, two 3-day weekends per year, and an additional 12 hours per year for parent conferences and work-related evening commitments. The salary is as follows: $15/Hour X 8 Hours/Day (7:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.) = $120/Day X 182 Days = $21,840 Plus $15 X 280 Additional Hours ($4,200) = $26,040 Annually/12 Months = $2,170/Month - $1,100 for Studio = $1,070 Salary/Month With the exception of one 3-day weekend in October and another 3-day weekend in either February or March, this position includes 7 weekend days off per month, 1 week off in November, 2 weeks off in December, 1 week off in February, 1 week off in March/April (spring break), and with the exception of working one Saturday or Sunday each month, most of June, all of July, and 1 week in August. It would be an ideal position for a college student who is attending night classes or taking classes online, or a retiree who needs both a place to live and supplemental income. The 526 square foot studio is above my garage. It will be furnished and has a full kitchen (mounted microwave above a regular sized oven/range, dishwasher, & refrigerator/freezer), bathroom, and laundry closet with a stacked washer/dryer). All utilities, cable TV, and internet are included. Parking is available behind the garage/studio. The property is in the Bridle Ridge housing development and across the street from one of the development's five parks. There is also a walking path that runs the length of the development. The ideal nanny has experience caring for an infant, has a gentle touch and demeanor, is patient, is soft spoken, is a good communicator, takes and follows directions well, is well mannered, is organized and punctual, has a car, or at least a driver's license, is CPR/First Aid certified - I will pay for the classes if a candidate isn't certified but meets all the other criteria. There is to be absolutely no smoking or drug use on the property and, of course, while caring for the infant. If of legal age, responsible drinking during non-working hours, which does not affect the caregiver's ability to care for the baby, is permitted. I am looking for a minimum of a one year commitment (August/September 2022 to August 1, 2023), however, I would prefer someone who could commit for longer, possibly until the child begins kindergarten. Please contact me for more information. Thank you, Kris A.
