My Real Estate Office is immediately Hiring a full-time lawncare pro (using company truck/trailer/commercial mowing equipment), demo, handyman type. No major construction skills needed, just a good work ethic, intelligence, an eye for detail, and a perfectionist tendency to do work to the best of your ability every time. You'll need to be good at overall basic simple maintenance, but I'm not looking for a skilled handyman that knows it all. IE: You'll need to be able to change a faucet, hang a ceiling fan, paint a few rooms with decent quality, install a refrigerator or diswasher, etc. If you have way more skills than this, we're still interested in hearing from you and we're willing to pay a bit more for those skills. IE: More advanced plumbing repair, electrical and wiring, etc. We actually have two roles open, advanced handyman, and this position, so we can easily hire 2 people right now. You'll need to be happy with and enjoy all of the different tasks, from getting dirty with grass cuts and demolition work/debris work one day, to the next day being clean and in the office all day helping the team, running errands, filing paperwork with county courthouses, fueling up vehicles, shopping, and 20 other misc things. You'll drive all of our different vehicles, from truck and trailer, to Mercedes and others. Due to that, and our lease requirements, you must be a non-smoker. The lease company fines us $2,000 if the vehicle even smells like smoke. This is an all-around general maintenance position so that we can still provide full-time employment even when the grass mowing season is over. With our current lawn list, you'll mow 2-2.5 days per week, and the rest will have these other tasks mixed in all the rest of the week. You will need a valid and clear license, decent background to pass a background check, ability to drive a truck and trailer, ability to move and install appliances, experience with commercial mowing equipment, eye for detail and quality, etc all required. If you have a background story, tell me upfront, there are many times we can still work with you as long as it's been long enough that our insurance and bonding don't give us problems. This is 9a-6p role with some later/earlier times occasionally. Definitely 42-45+ hours per week consistently and we're ONLY looking for those who want to join our team, grow, move up in the company, and build a long-term 10+ year career here. You'll be on your own most of the time, so this role is perfect for those who can get it done without constant supervision. Sometimes on a big trashout or demo you'll need to recruit 1-2 day laborer helpers, and we'll show you how easily, but again....we want great people who work hard and you'll be in charge of those you manage and have help you. (we pay them, of course). Pay starts at $18-23/hr depending on skill and experience, plus bonuses and advancement opportunities.
