Pacific Utility is currently looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. We are a fast growing organization looking for good hard working people who are looking to grow and make their job a long term career. All Mechanics must be flexible to work in the field and in the yard. Job Description: You will Service, repair, adjust and test all equipment that operates throughout the field and in the yard Diagnose and Inspect, Identify problems and performs maintenance Handle power driven equipment and use power tools Must have knowledge of Hydraulics and Backhoe, Diesel engine Able to perform but not limited to AC, Fuel, Electrical, Exhaust, Suspension, Brakes, Inputting detailed, Computerized notes for service and repairs Decision making and problem solving Light Fabrication Strong diagnostic skills Qualifications: Previous experience working on diesel and heavy construction equipment is required Must be able to travel to all job sites as needed 2-8 years of diesel/heavy equipment repair Valid drivers license and clean driving record Pay: Mechanic I: $30.00/hour plus OT if needed Mechanic II: $25.00/hours plus OT if needed PUI offers great a great benefits packet and good pay. Pre Employment drug testing will be required. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
