WARNING FOR DAUCHSHUND SCAM

I have been looking for dachshund puppies for some time and found someone who is posting ads for dachshund puppies (very cheap for the breed $300-400 for one pup). This sounded too good to be true and it was. I found out by messaging them and they happened to send photos of the same puppy that I had seen 8 MONTHS AGO last year (first photo was sent in Aug2022 and the second Dec.2021). They were very eager asking if I wanted to reserve the dog, and also were sending photos of a male dog after advertising a female. The ad I was also looking at was listed in the sacramento area and the scammer said they were conveniently located in my city (which was not is sacramento and a bit of a way out). Very sad for hopeful dog owners, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is. Make sure to verify proof of the deal and NEVER send money ahead of time. Photos are what was being used by the scammer and what their ad looked like. Please dont fall for it! Hope this helps and stay safe!
