Have you ever wanted to knit a scarf or a shawl or even socks, but you didn't know where to start? Join us at the historic Monteith House in Albany, Oregon at noon on August 13th to learn. We'll teach you everything you need to know to start wading into knitting- two ways to cast on to get you started, knit stitches, purl stitches, and more! Adults and school-age children are all welcome. Supplies are provided to make a sampler project that you can take home. Warning: once you start knitting, you won't want to stop!
