Atherton Homes is seeking a Construction Detailer to join our team. Experience with the construction of single family homes and/or apartments is required. This person must be willing to exhibit and/or be able to quickly learn the following skills: *Basic Math. *Ability to utilize basic tools, such as painting equipment, measuring tape, hammer etc. *Knowledgeable in paint touch up, texture touch up and must have your own tools. *A knowledge of carpentry/construction work. Restock building supplies at the end of shift. *Basic understanding of construction plans. *General cleanup of work area, our construction supply area and construction site if necessary. *Must work well with others, take direction and be able to work alone when necessary. *Must be aware of deadlines for each task/project which must be completed in a timely manner. *Help ensure that the established objectives for the company are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget. This job also requires: *High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). *Have at least six months experience working in a construction environment. *Candidate must provide work experience history in construction and/or related field. *Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, reaching above/below shoulder level. *Ability to lift or position up to 100 lbs. *Ability to speak Spanish is helpful but not required. *Must have own car and/or reliable transportation. Punctuality and attendance is very important. At times, this job may entail contact with owners, subcontractors, inspectors, city officials, and the general public which requires tact, sensitivity, and professionalism.
