In this workshop we will identify the difference between a 504 and an IEP, how to navigate and advocate during the meetings, tips on coordinating with school staff, and know your child’s legal rights. This workshop is primarily focused on the needs of neurologically diverse children (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, Autism, OCD, Anxiety, Sensory Processing Disorder, Twice Exceptional Kids) but will have helpful tools for anyone in this process. The workshop will be in person to provide time to answer questions specific to your child.
Class will be led by Camille and Jasmine from Women and Family Wellness Studios. Please visit stillyvalleyhealth.org or call 360-386-9918 to register.
