Join the Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute for free weekly gatherings that focus on nature-based mindfulness practices and sensory awareness exercises.
This is an opportunity to slow down, unwind, and come into the present moment with compassion and curiosity. This is an invitation to pause, listen, and explore. Come join us for a meaningful evening of nature-connection time.
There will be time for wandering on the land and for inner reflection, as well as opportunities to share experiences with others, if you choose to.
Terrain: We will walk on gentle, even terrain, and then sit on the ground.
Location: Sawhill Ponds Trailhead (3400 75th Street, Boulder, CO, 80301)
Getting There: The trailhead is east of Boulder city limits on the west side of 75th Street, 0.6 mile north of Valmont Road.
Time: Every Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm-7 pm
What to bring: Journal and pen, water, personal snacks, rainjacket/coat/warm layer, something to sit on (optional/recommended)

Your Guide: Hosted by the Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute (SWTI), a nature-based therapy and retreat organization in Boulder, Colorado, the Alive Outside series is led by Kristina Benson, a counseling intern at SWTI and a Transpersonal Wilderness Therapy master's student at Naropa University.
