This "Medfield Historical Minute" is brought to you by town historian Richard DeSorgher.A little something to read and learn to give you a little break during this time of boredom during isolation due to the Coronavirus Crisis. A different "Medfield Historical Minute" will appear each day during the Crisis. "In 1892 the Dedham Transcript reported that 27 empty liquor bottles were found in Chenery Hall (second floor hall in town hall) after a dance. The reporter called Medfield a place where "the boys can get high on a liberal supply of liquor and get off scot-free."
