On the early morning of September 20, 2021, while Bill and his Team were serving a felony warrant, they were ambushed. Bill was hit multiple times and sadly did not survive his injuries. William John Jeffrey, or better known to his family and friends as "Bill" was 54 years of age, and survived by his wife Susanne, his daughter, Lacie, and his granddaughter, Laney. The amount of those that love and miss him is endless. Bill served with HPD honorably under badge #3064 for 31 years. Bill's call sign was 2552. Bill is a hero and his family, friends, and department have created a Hero WOD (workout of the day) tribute to honor him. Workout Details: BE LIKE BILL - WOD 25 burpees 52 squats 31 push ups 20 hip hinge swings (RX: 50 lbs/35 lbs) 21 wall balls 1.40 mile run - to be completed w/ a 20 lb vest or plate carrier *All participants must register for this event* 8:00-9:00 Individual participation 9:00 - Opening Ceremony. Team competitions will follow shortly afterwards.
