Description

The MBS Summer Wave Event will take place on Saturday, August 20th. Day time festivities will kick off at 1:00 p.m. and last until 7:00 p.m. and include life-sized yard games such as Jenga, Connect Four, Chess, and Checkers. To cool off between games, attendees can slide down the 27-foot-tall Purple Crush Waterslide or test their surf skills on the Big Wave Surf Machine Simulator. All the while, Mockingbird Station’s various eateries and retailers will be open for snacking, cooling off, or browsing. The Summer Wave Event will also include fun photo opportunities like Mari Pohlman’s new surfing mural with face cut-outs. To conclude the day, Mockingbird Station has partnered with Angelika Film Centre to showcase a pop-up movie screening at 8:00 p.m. Attendees can wind down with cozy seating and snacks to watch Pirates of the Caribbean on the second level of Mockingbird Station
