Description

The Tree House Humane Society is looking for VU volunteers to help run their annual Cat Walk bar crawl fundraiser! The event will feature music, drink specials, and cat-themed games at Smylie Brothers, Urban Brew Labs, Empirical Brewing, and more. Please wear either a VU shirt or blue tshirt and comfortable clothes. Bring water, sunscreen and small snacks if you like (there'll be a pizza truck and snacks for volunteers)   Select one shift when you sign up. Please arrive at Smylie Brothers (3827 N Broadway) 15 minutes before your shift time for additional training. Check In Volunteer (11:30 am - 3:30 pm) 12 volunteers will be needed to support Check In from 11:30- am - 3:30 pm to scan tickets, distribute materials, and act as directional guidesBar Volunteer (12:30pm - 6:00 pm) 12 volunteers will be needed from 12:30 pm - 6:00 pm at the bars to greet guests, stamp activity passports, and oversee games and activities (like cornhole, ring toss, etc.)Water Volunteers (2 pm-5 pm) 4 volunteers will be needed to staff water stations at the halfway points of the bar crawlCOVID-19 Disclaimer Please do not attend the event if you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or if you have received a positive test result in the five days leading up to the event.Please contact us immediately if you exhibit symptoms during or after the event.Please follow the current city mask guidelines.Questions?
