Jon Beer Contracting is looking to hire a carpenter to join our tight knit team of craftsman. Long term opportunity for someone who is looking to stay in one place and grow. Long term applicants preferred. Based in Newburgh, NY with jobs in Newburgh, Beacon, Cornwall, etc. - 3 years experience minimum. - 40 Hours Per Week, - Benefits: Paid holidays after 6 months, Retirement - Applicant must be proficient in framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry. Experience with tile work, sheetrock bonus. - Field work may include demolition, framing, sheetrock, painting, tile work, finish carpentry, and cabinetry. - Applicant is responsible for providing their own hand tools, power drill, impact driver and circular saw. - Additional power tools such as Sawzall, oscillating tool and jigsaw are recommended but not required. Stationary tools or specialty tools will be on site for use by Jon Beer Contracting. We will provide applicant with one pair of safety googles and hearing protection. - Applicant must have good attitude, willingness to learn, attention to detail, clean license, reliable transportation. Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
