The First Amendment guarantees freedoms concerning religion, expression, assembly, and the right to petition. This workshop will highlight new legislation, new legal decisions, and miscellaneous issues in education as they pertain to the First Amendment. This is an in-person workshop and will be presented by Jennifer Nix, General Counsel for the School & College Legal Services of California. Please park in the back parking lot of the Lake County Office of Education Lakeport Main Street office.
