Looking to re-home for fee for our 7 year old kitty Lolita

We are looking for a new home for our 7-year-old cat, Lolita! My roommate and I adopted Lolita together from the ASPCA in 2015 when she was 5 months old. She’d arrived there with a broken hip and has made a full physical recovery since then, but she is still a sensitive creature. She has a tendency to be skittish, and she can be territorial/aggressive with strangers at times. She is also very sweet and loyal, and once she gets to know you will often curl up at your feet while you sleep, or even right next to your head if she senses you need it. My roommate and I are parting ways this fall and neither of us is equipped to care for Lolita on our own unfortunately, as much as we wish we were. We would love to find someone who is cat savvy with a lot of love to give. She’s been in an indoor cat with us, but somewhere she could be an indoor/outdoor cat could be great for her too.We’re happy to drive outside of NYC if it means finding the right home for her. Please reach out if you or someone you know might be interested in adopting her. We love her and we know someone else will too! We understand the dangers of "free to good home" ads and so we are asking for a fee.
