Edgy Punky Bluesy Rocky and Swingin. Uptempo and catchy most of the time. No metal--maybe a wee bit of the flavor but not full on as the genre has become a parody of itself. No post rock pop; the genre is bland, soulless, and boring. Don't sound like a beginner: poor pitch control, sloppy intervals, lousy timing and phrasing. Mumblers who can't move or involve their jaw and mouth muscles while singing please pass on this ad. Be willing to focus on vocals only because playing 'some guitar' isn't a big help when the playing is not on a pro level. Not looking for bel canto style = pretty singing, tons of vibrato, great American songbook or high school recital style. A high musical IQ and musical depth is essential; you know the movers and shakers from the 50s 60s 70s 80s 90s and onwards. You are reliable, smart, creative, career oriented and able to survive a bad day working out material at rehearsal without falling to pieces or quitting.
