Ever have a question about your medication but were embarrassed to ask or weren’t sure who to ask? Ever been asked for your personal medical history and couldn’t recall when you had your last tetanus shot or when you had a procedure done? The presentation will provide interesting stories about the presenter’s unusual and sometimes humorous experiences as a pharmacist, working in a world that requires precision and dedication to serving customers. Those customers, patients, are frequently struggling with an illness and could certainly think of better ways to spend their time. You will learn steps you might take to be a better patient advocate for yourself and/or another. Janice Glascock will welcome questions related to the profession of hospital pharmacy.
