We are looking for an organized and motivated warehouse assistant to join our team. 35-40 hours a week with some overtime available Warehouse Assistant Duties and Responsibilities: Move inventory and materials throughout the store/warehouse Handle delicate and sensitive products with utmost care Process inventory for deliveries/pickups Sort, organize, and store inventory in proper location Package items and label correctly Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors Stack and organize large bulk items Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse Remove inventory from trucks for shipping and/or delivery Move materials from storage to pick-up area or other locations Ensure workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards Ensure office, bathrooms, and storage areas are clean at all times Work as an active team member to complete team goals Update logs and documentation for inventory processing Assist in organizing and maintaining up to date records of inventory Perform safety check of powered industrial vehicle prior to operation Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials Keep area free of snow in winter to include plow, shovel and ice melt Additional duties as assigned Warehouse Assistant Requirements and Qualifications: High school degree or equivalent Able to pass drug test/background check Must have a clean driving record and current license Physically able to stand, sit, move, squat, walk, and climb during the shift Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds or more Good verbal and written communication skills Able to work in a fast-paced environment Able to work independently High attention to detail and monitors quality/quantity of inventory Highly organized and able to store items efficiently Must follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state. Prior experience working in a warehouse Knowledge of operating a forklift/snowplow/scale for weighing shipments Warehouse environment can expose Team Members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold)
