ROSLYN HEIGHTS, NY —A Roslyn Heights man has been cuffed for robbing Chase Bank in Roslyn Heights Wednesday, Nassau County police said Thursday. Police said that Darren Lindo, 36, of 22 Edwards St. walked inside Chase Bank located on Glen Cove Road at about 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday and passed a note to a bank teller demanding money, and then left when the teller handed over some cash. Four bank employees and two customers were inside the bank at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured, according to police. Lindo was arrested and charged with third-degree robbery, a felony punishable of between two-and-seven years in prison upon conviction. He will be arraigned in Mineola Thursday.
