Description

Join Lakewood for the return of our popular Music in the Chapel concert series! After a two year hiatus, this popular series is back! The Music in the Chapel series showcases an eclectic range of performers and local musicians for musical performances that showcase the acoustical charms of this historic and unique architectural landmark, right in the heart of the city. We're kicking off this series with local artists David Huckfelt and Annie Humphrey for a collaborative performance in our historic halls. About Robert Robinson Robert Robinson is reason to believe that the greatest music reaches every name and crosses every boundary, from audiences in the Pontiac Silverdome to troops in South Korea. Standing five foot five and sipping Diet Coke, Robert is “God’s canary.” He possesses the ability to sing any song and yet remain true to his vision. From humble beginnings singing with his family as part of the Robinson Children musical group at his parents church on the North side of Minneapolis, to leading the Twin Cities Community Gospel Choir, traveling with Lorie Line’s Christmas Tour, and sharing his soulful voice around the country - Fans adore Robert and his warm and inclusive personalist. They don’t necessarily have to embrace gospel to embrace Robert and that is alright with him. It’s all about his soul.
